Dr Nick Kane MBChB, MSc, MD (Hons), FRCS, FRCP (by election) trained in Neurophysiology at the Burden Neurological Institute, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. I am a full time NHS Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist at North Bristol NHS Trust, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Bristol University and current President of the Joint Neurosciences Council. Dr Kane is a proud former Council member of the British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology serving in various roles, and is delighted to be invited to give a (selective) historical talk on 80 years of the BSCN.
