This talk will provide an overview of commissioned education and training programmes in Neurophysiology, focusing on the STP and HSST.  This is delivered with the aim of increasing engagement in training and to prompt conversation on workforce planning, which is particularly important given the shortages faced by the neurophysiology workforce. NHS England recognises a specific need to address this for neurophysiology and Danielle is a dedicated Project Lead for Neurophysiology (2023-2024). Part of the aims of her project are to increase understanding of current training programmes, particularly among medics, who are crucial in supporting training and shaping the culture within departments to provide and promote excellent education.
