Dr Tatyana Yermakova

Tatyana completed her medical schooling and postgraduate training in Russia where she also served as a medical lieutenant in the Soviet Army.  She came to UK to expand her experiences in Clinical Neurophysiology. First exposure was granted at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, in the Grey Walter Department, under the tutelage of Drs. Nick Kane and Agyepong Oware. She moved to Yorkshire in 2009 and taking up the position of a specialty doctor at a busy clinical neurophysiology department at Hull Royal Infirmary, a tertiary care centre and a medical school hospital. She has been working at LGI for past five years as a consultant physician, initially as a locum and later on as a substantive full time consultant physician after being granted the privilege of specialist registration by GMC. She is also appointed as a clinical lead of Neurophysiology Department at LGI. Tatyana’s special interests are peripheral neurology, neuromuscular disorders, especially -CIDP, MND and brachial plexus pathology.

Her interest and hobbies are yoga practice, playing piano and sourdough bread baking.
