Dr Bland is a consultant neurophysiologist at East Kent Hospitals Trust with longstanding interests in carpal tunnel syndrome and ultrasound imaging of nerve.

This talk will impart a basic understanding of the mechanics of ultrasound imaging, the limitations imposed by physical constraints and some of the artefacts which are encountered when imaging.
