Neuroimaging: a new challenge for neurophysiology in diagnosis and management of dysimmune neuropathies
Dr Stephan Goedee

I am a neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist, specialized in neuromuscular disorders and focus (research) on inflammatory neuropathies and MND. I’ve received training at large general teaching hospital and UMC Utrecht, and was trained in neuromuscular ultrasound by Leo Visser and in electrodiagnostic techniques by Hessel Franssen. My PhD thesis was on use of nerve ultrasound in diagnosis of neuropathies. I’m also part of the board of or national society of clinical neurophysiology, member of scientific panel EAN clinical neurophysiology, participated as faculty in national and international training courses on neuromuscular ultrasound. Our imaging research in inflammatory neuropathies has focus on nerve ultrasound and MRI.
