Peripheral nerve injury
Michael Fox

Mr Michael Fox was appointed as a Consultant in the Peripheral Nerve Injury
(PNI) Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore in 2008 a
tertiary referral centre, treating complex cases of nerve injury that are referred
from hospitals throughout the United Kingdom. Mr Fox graduated from University
College London Medical School in 1996 and completed his senior orthopaedic
training on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation in London
specialising in Peripheral Nerve Injury. He has also undertaken fellowships in Paris, Los Angeles, Boston and Houston for nerve injuries and Salzburg (AO Fellowship) for trauma and shoulder surgery. Currently Clinical Lead of the department, Mr Fox has also held positions as Director of Medical Education and College Tutor and set up the Simulation Centre at the RNOH. Mr Fox is proud to have trained many of the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons and is also proud of his work at Headley Court, treating injured servicemen. He also enjoys working with professional sports clubs treating patients with nerve injury.
