How carpal tunnel syndrome presents as seizures – TeleEEG Update

The TeleEEG project is now in its 13th year. What started as an isolated helping hand to a hospital in Nepal has snowballed into a global network connecting clinics in developing countries with desperately needed specialist neurology services. Our team of 70 neurologists, clinical neurophysiologists and paediatricians have reported over 30,000 EEGs as well as providing patient management advice. Patients throughout the world have significantly benefited from this. In return, clinical cases in resource poor countries give insights into pathologies rarely encountered in richer nations providing learning opportunities even for experienced clinicians.

The aim of the TeleEEG project has been to bring high quality EEG interpretation to clinics in need. This has been expanded over the years to include patient management advice This is being achieved through your efforts.

This presentation gives an update on where the TeleEEG project is now and our plans to achieve our vision through technology and human factors. I will show you what becoming a member of the TeleEEG project can give you and what benefits you can give clinics.
